It is your responsibility to take all measures necessary to protect customers while they are under your care.Instructor SupervisionAt every point while you are in the salon, whether you are managing bookings or attending to a customer, you will be monitored by an Inspire Greatness Aveda Institutes instructor. You should wear professional-looking black clothes, closed-toe shoes, and the Aveda-branded apron that will be provided to you on entry into our program.Can I earn tips in the Student Salon and Spa?While students do not earn a salary while working in the salon, customers can tip students directly.What if a guest is unhappy with their results?If customers at the student salon are unhappy with their service, then students are expected to take feedback graciously and make corrections if requested.What if a guest is late?Our policy asks customers to make cancellations and reschedules at least 24 hours in advance so that we can fill the vacant appointment. Cancellations and no-shows within the 24-hour period are charged 50% of the service scheduled.Will I learn how to service different hair textures?Yes, the Inspire Greatness Aveda Institutes curriculum focuses on working with all hair textures so students can work with clients of all backgrounds.
