Barber Program
Do you envision yourself in the barbering industry? In our comprehensive barber school program, you can learn cutting and shaving techniques, as well as health and safety fundamentals like sanitation practices. Plus, each student will receive a professional-grade toolkit that they can take with them after graduation.
Hairstyling Program
For those who are most excited about creating stunning updos or luminous highlights, the hairstyling program at our Phoenix campus is a great fit. This specialized program offers 1,000 hours of training, covering everything from shampooing and conditioning to hair coloring, cutting, and styling.
You’ll learn the latest industry trends in hair design from experienced, knowledgeable instructors. Students will practice perming techniques, chemical texture services, corrective coloring, thermal styling, braiding, and more. Upon completion of the program, you will be prepared to sit for the practical and theory examinations for the Arizona State Board of Cosmetology.
Cosmetology Program
For those who dream of becoming professional cosmetologists, an Aveda education is recognized around the world for excellence. Our 1,600-hour cosmetology program is a great foundation in the field, combining classroom instruction with hands-on experience on our clinic floor. Whether you aspire to be a makeup artist, salon manager, or stylist, our cosmetology instructors will empower you to pursue your passion.
Esthiology Program
A career as a skin care specialist is a fulfilling way to help others feel confident and beautiful. At Inspire Greatness Aveda Institutes, our 600-hour esthiology program will train you in the fundamentals of skin evaluation, product analysis, and spa treatments. You’ll learn the latest trends in the beauty and wellness industry and get the chance to work with clean, eco-friendly product lines from Aveda.
Master Esthiology Program
To offer advanced treatments in clinical skincare, you’ll need in-depth training. The master esthiology program at Inspire Greatness Aveda Institutes provides 1,200 hours of instruction and training in a wide range of techniques. In addition to facials, waxing, and aromatherapy, you’ll learn to provide advanced services like microneedling and brow lamination. You’ll also practice customer service skills and client relations, gaining helpful feedback from your instructors.
Massage Therapy Program
Massage therapists use a variety of techniques and manual manipulation to release tension, reduce stress, and help a client feel refreshed. A massage is a powerful tool for healing, and you can develop your knowledge and abilities at Inspire Greatness Aveda Institutes.
The massage therapy program consists of 600 hours of training, combining group study, classroom lectures, and online learning with real-life practice at our onsite spa. Students in this program study kinesiology and anatomy, massage theory and techniques, and complementary services like hydrotherapy. You’ll be able to use high-end Aveda products in your training, formulated with pure flower and plant essences.
Cosmetology Educator/Esthiology Educator Program
Are you a cosmetologist or esthetician who wants to mentor the next generation of professionals? Develop your teaching skills through our cosmetology instructor training program. We use lectures, hands-on training, and one-on-one coaching to help you develop your skills. You’ll practice developing and presenting lesson plans, giving students feedback, and managing a classroom. Once you’ve completed the program, you’ll be eligible to pursue licensure as a cosmetology or esthetician instructor in Arizona.
