Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have questions about pursuing an education in beauty at Inspire Greatness Aveda Institutes? Want to learn more about scheduling your appointment at our school. We’ve compiled a list of some frequently asked questions. If the question you have isn’t answered here, feel free to call us! We’d be happy to help.

About Our School & Programs

We currently have four locations in three different states: Arizona, Utah, and Colorado. At each of our locations, programs and schedules may vary, but you can still expect the same amazing service from an Aveda Institute. Learn more about each of our schools:

The programs we offer vary per location, but you can choose from a variety of hairstyling and skincare programs. Learn more about each of our programs and see which program might be a good fit for you:

The cost of each of our programs varies per location and program. But, beauty school can be affordable! You can reach out to our team to get an exact cost and learn more about financial aid, available to those who qualify. You can pay for school using federal grants and loans, scholarships, and more, and we’ll help you every step of the way.

We have classes starting at multiple times throughout the year for all of our programs! If you want to know when classes start next, reach out to our team. We’ll let you know when our next start dates are and how to get started at one of our beauty schools.

Many of our programs have a variety of schedule options, including day or evening classes, and even part-time or full-time options. Our goal is to make it possible to fit beauty school into your already busy life. Reach out to our team to learn more about our schedules, or you can check out our course catalogs for more info.

If you want to become a licensed esthetician, you can do so as part of our esthiology program. Esthiology is Aveda’s name for the study of skincare, using all natural Aveda products. The esthiology program at Inspire Greatness Aveda Institutes can prepare you to become a licensed skincare professional!

Estheticians and cosmetologists are two common licensures in the beauty industry. Cosmetology is the study of hair, skin, and nails while esthiology is focusing on the study of skincare. Esthetics programs are often shorter than cosmetology programs, while cosmetology programs are longer and have a more extensive curriculum. Learn more about the differences between the two programs.

The first step to applying is to reach out to us! We’ll schedule a tour with you to see the school and walk you through what to expect as a beauty school student. When you’re ready to start the application process, we’ll provide you with an application packet that includes details that you’ll need to provide, such as:

  • Letter of intent
  • Proof of age
  • Scanned copy of a high school diploma or GED
  • Social security card (Arizona only)

You can read more about the admissions process and what to expect when starting beauty school.
