Barber Program
The barbering industry is coming back. Close shaves, razor fades, and clipper cuts are all part of our extensive curriculum at our Denver and Provo locations. Our unique program was developed by an Aveda Purefessional Barber. If you have a passion for creating stunning cuts, rely on our experienced educators in our barbering program.
Hairstyling Program
Looking for a focused program where you can learn how to give clients hairstyles they’ll love? Our hairstyling program can be completed in as little as 45 weeks. You’ll learn how to properly shampoo and condition hair, practice wet and dry styling techniques, and study color theory and chemical texture services. Students will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in hair design at our onsite salon and spa.
Cosmetology Program
The cosmetology program at Inspire Greatness Aveda Institutes is right for students who want to work in a professional salon or spa. In this 1,500-hour program, students can build a strong foundation to prepare for a variety of roles in the beauty industry. You’ll learn the fundamentals of haircutting, styling, and coloring while also gaining experience in salon services like manicures, pedicures, skin care treatments, and facial and body waxing. Plus, this program will cover key health and safety practices to protect yourself and your clients.
Esthiology Program
Help your clients look and feel their best with glowing skin. Inspire Greatness Aveda Institutes is proud to use natural, 100% vegan Aveda products in all our skincare services. Our esthiology program trains students in the fundamentals of skin analysis, facial massage, and skin detoxification and treatments. You’ll also learn about lash application, hair removal methods, and makeup application.
Master Esthiology Program
If you’re looking to dive deeper into the world of esthetics, our master esthiology program is a great option. You’ll move beyond the fundamentals of esthiology by practicing advanced techniques like microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, and microneedling. Graduates of this 1,200-hour program often go on to work in settings such as medispas, dermatology offices, or plastic surgery clinics.
Massage Therapy Program
Massage therapy services help clients feel relaxed and relieve stress. Students at Inspire Greatness Aveda Institutes can learn to provide these rejuvenating services in our massage therapy program. This comprehensive 600-hour program covers foundational concepts like anatomy and physiology, as well as techniques like acupressure, Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, and hydrotherapy.
Cosmetology Educator/Esthiology Educator Program
Ready to pass on your knowledge to the next generation of beauty professionals? Our instructor training programs allow students to focus on cosmetology or esthiology education. These 350-hour programs cover lesson planning, curriculum development, state rules and regulations, and other key topics to prepare students to manage a beauty school classroom as a cosmetology instructor or esthetician instructor.

Plus, our Aveda Institute Experience Center offers vegan hair care, skin care, and makeup products made with pure plant and flower extracts. This onsite retail center allows students to practice customer service skills in a supportive environment.
