At Inspire Greatness Aveda Institutes, we offer an intimate classroom setting that focuses on hands-on experience. Our students vary in age and other demographics but are united in their passion for mastering beauty, health, and wellness techniques. We offer options for full-time and part-time study, and extra flexibility is provided with a choice of day or evening programs.
As part of the esthiology curriculum, students learn about and work with Aveda brand products only. The use of these products extends to our student-run salon and spa, as well, where students get hands-on experience by offering services to real clients.
Our curriculum includes both art and science when it comes to esthiology, so students have multiple opportunities to discover their specific talents and proclivities. Instructors and students share ideas and experiences, plus students have opportunities to observe master series demonstrations. These demonstrations also provide the chance for students to network with high-profile professionals. There are also additional skill-building workshops offered on campus, as well as career fairs that give students the opportunity to speak with employers about job options, industry trends, and economic outlooks.
At Inspire Greatness Aveda Institutes, we take education several steps further by offering international opportunities in our study abroad programs. You may also be chosen to participate backstage for model runways at the New York and London Fashion Week. Students will also have the opportunity to improve their skills by competing in the North American Hairstyling Awards, sometimes called the Oscars of the beauty industry.
